Corvus Frugilegus...

Crows .. or more exactly rooks of course (the lighter beak is the simplest way to know a rook)

I love these smart birds and could happily watch fool around them all day long.

Did you know they can mimic human speech and learn words just as well as parrots? (Don't believe me - Google it!)  

I highly recommend the wonderful book "Corvus - A Life With Birds" to change how you see both birds and crows forever.

Pulpit Rock, at the Southern tip of Portland Bill, is pretty cool. It was created by quarry workers in the 1870s who took away the surrounding rock, to leave the edifice and the leaning stone standing alone to represent an open bible resting against a pulpit.
