Round The Island Race 2022

Round The Island Race 2022

I love the Round The Island Race, and this year's race was a classic. Sunshine and a stiff breeze and around 1200 sailboats. I took this snap from the cliffs overlooking St. Catherine's Lighthouse om the Island's southern tip around midday. You can just see the Needles in the far distance.. Happy days.

I love this photograph and was lucky to see it in person when I visited the gallery recently while enjoying a holiday in the IOW. I had a lovely chat with Clare too. I just loved so many of the photographs in the gallery. They are stunning.

Hello Neil

I hope my email finds you well.

I noticed on your website you have some beautiful pictures of the Round the Island Race Weekend. I work for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust (we support young people in their recovery from cancer through sailing and outdoor adventures. Here is a link to our website for more info https://www.ellenmacarthurcancertrust.org/ ). We are the named charity for the event this year and thankfully have been for a number of years.

I am reaching as I am in need auction prizes for a private event happening the Round the Island Race weekend this June. The event is organised by a long term supporter of the Trust from JP Morgan. The event will have over 100 people and is located at the Island Sailing Club, where an auction/raffle will take place to raise essential funds for the Trust.

We would be so grateful if you are in a position to donate a prize to this event. We would be able to give you shout outs on our social platforms of your gift to the Trust as well as provide your details on the auction/raffle booklet ‘menu’ for guests to find more information about you and your artwork. But of course, I appreciate this is a big ask as you are an independent artist, so please don’t worry if this is too much.

Either way I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,
Ella
